City of Winchester Trust Ltd

The City of Winchester Trust was set up in 1957 after the public failed to stop the demolition of the Brooks area of the city. During its existence the Trust has saved streets from demolition, protected and restored individual buildings and architectural details, helped to safeguard Winchester’s setting and landscape, scrutinised and taken action on major developments, acted on roads and traffic and raised awareness of many other issues affecting the City.
