A Jazzy Little Christmas

One of our most popular contemporary composers, Will Todd, spent his formative years steeped in choral music and jazz and has written several works expertly blending the two.  The main piece performed at our concert will be his Jazz Missa Brevis, which began life as a series of improvisations, later honed and developed into completed movements. The result is a vibrant choral setting of the sung Latin Mass texts.
Also on the bill are many other festive choral favourites, Christmas carols for everyone and a guest appearance by the St Clement Danes School Chamber Choir - all accompanied by a brass quintet (incorporating a jazz trio) and our organist Iestyn Evans.

Doors open at 5.15pm for festive drinks and treats.
