Cheltenham and Gloucester Hospitals Charity - Making hospital life better
Cheltenham and Gloucester Hospitals Charity is the registered charity that helps make hospital life better at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital and Cheltenham General Hospital. Donations help to buy medical equipment over-and-above NHS funding, and pay for improvements that benefit patients and families, such as new seating in waiting areas, artwork to brighten up the hospital environment and benches and gardens in the hospital grounds. We also support NHS staff, funding additional training resources, yoga classes, and practical items such as microwaves and fridges for staff kitchens.
Currently, our major campaign is The Big Space Cancer Appeal. We are raising millions of pounds to fund a bigger, brighter space for cancer care. Our vision includes building a new extension at Cheltenham General Hospital and then the improvement of the spaces where cancer care is currently provided. This will benefit tens of thousands of patients from across Gloucestershire and beyond.
