A Family Christmas Concert with Lloyd Griffith
Grimsby Minster, Grimsby, DN31 1EP
Tuesday 22nd December 2026 2:00PM
Christmas music, family fun and a little festive cheer!
Join Grimsby's very own Lloyd Griffith for a special family-friendly Christmas concert, filled with festive music, laughter, storytelling and plenty of opportunities to sing along!
You might know Lloyd as a comedian, actor or from bumping into him at Blundell Park, but he's also a classically trained bass-baritone (yes, really!) with a lifelong love of choral music that began at Grimsby Minster when he was just seven years old.
Following the success of last year's sell-out Christmas concert, Lloyd is back with a special afternoon performance designed for the whole family to enjoy. Joined by a wonderful group of professional musicians, Lloyd will take you on a festive musical journey, sharing some of his favourite Christmas songs, traditional carols and stories along the way. Expect beautiful singing, a few laughs and plenty of chances for everyone, young and old, to join in!
With a shorter, more relaxed programme than the evening concert, this afternoon performance is a lovely introduction to live choral music for younger audiences, while still offering plenty for the grown-ups to enjoy too.
Whether it's your little one's first Christmas concert or a festive family tradition, come along, sing your heart out and make some wonderful Christmas memories together!
And there's a little extra festive fun for our younger guests! Enjoy some Christmas arts and crafts before the concert, and for those experiencing their very first Christmas concert, we'll have a special little certificate to take home and remember the occasion!
A little music, a little laughter and a whole lot of Christmas spirit!
