SHREK the Musical Jr. - NAPA

Shrek The Musical JR. is a 60-minute adaptation of the Broadway musical and animated film, tailored specifically for young performers. The story follows a solitary green ogre named Shrek whose peaceful swamp is suddenly overrun by fairytale misfits banished by the vertically challenged Lord Farquaad. To regain his land, Shrek strikes a deal with the ruler and sets off with a fast-talking Donkey to rescue the feisty Princess Fiona from a dragon-guarded tower.

As they journey back to Duloc, Shrek and Fiona form an unexpected bond, unaware that Fiona harbors a dark secret: she is cursed to transform into an ogress every evening until she receives true love's first kiss. Following a series of misunderstandings, Shrek and the fairytale creatures crash Fiona's wedding to Lord Farquaad just as the sun sets, exposing both the prince's hypocrisy and Fiona’s true form. Sharing true love's kiss, Fiona remains an ogress permanently, and the entire kingdom celebrates the lesson that true beauty lies within.
