Katie Toft, from the High Peak, is a 9 time World Champion Para-cyclist for Team GB.
Born with Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy (CP) Katie has faced many challenges along the way, and whilst overcoming many of them she would often feel “overwhelmed and overloaded”.
After a few difficult years she received a diagnosis which she thought she would never get.
The evening of Katie will discuss what it’s like to grow up with CP and with a hidden disability, the challenges this presents in life and in sport but also the unique insights those challenges have given her and her family
