The De Parys Sextet

The De Parys Sextet; six local musicians from the Bedford area, presents an evening celebrating the extraordinary richness and variety of music for string sextet. From the elegance and sparkle of Boccherini, through the youthful passion of Borodin and the sumptuous, romantic sound-world of Frank Bridge, the programme culminates in Dvořák’s magnificent Sextet in A major – overflowing with warmth, lyrical melody and the irresistible rhythms of Bohemian folk music.
