Sciencegramers: Career book presentation and networking

The LAB, Cambridge, CB2 1DP
Thursday 8th October 2026
You're warmly invited to the presentation of
Sciencegramers: More than 100 Professions to Pursue if You Like Life Sciences and Healthcare

Join us for an inspiring evening celebrating science, curiosity, and the many career opportunities within the Life Sciences and Healthcare sectors, followed by networking over Spanish food (free of charge).

Angela Quintana Vega will present Sciencegramers, a guide exploring more than 100 careers beyond the traditional paths in academia, medicine, and research. Through her own journey, she will share insights into discovering your strengths, exploring new opportunities, and building a career that matches your passions.

Hosted by Prof. Sir Tony Kouzirades at The LAB, Cambridge, the evening will bring together students, researchers, and professionals with a shared passion for science.

To mark the occasion, we've created the Sciencegramers Elixir, a signature cocktail crafted with saffron-infused gin, apple vermouth, agave syrup, and fresh lemon juice. Inspired by the spirit of the book, it celebrates curiosity, passion, and the talents waiting to be uncovered.

Whether you're a student, PhD researcher, or science professional, join us for an evening of career inspiration, new connections, and great conversation. We look forward to welcoming you!

Please note that food is included in the ticket price. Drinks, including the Sciencegramers cocktail, are not included.
