Dry Stone Walled Garden ‘From Smoots to Lunkys!’ – Free talk and tour

Join stone carver Simon Lumb for an educational talk and tour of the Dry Stone Walled Garden exhibit at Shibden Park. Learn everything there is to know about dry stone walls and more. Did you know that there are ten different geologies from Yorkshire at the site and four different types of stile? Find out what lives in and on a dry stone wall. Discover the different features in the garden including the stone carvings, Shepherd’s Hut and the memorial to Anne Lister built by women wallers from all over the world.
