Cadno presents One Man Two Guvnors

One Man Two Guvnors is a modern retelling of the classic Goldoni play The Servant of Two Masters, updating the 18th Century commedia dell’arte to 1960s Brighton, proving that the true classics stand the test of time. Our hero Francis Henshall finds himself secretly having two bosses, and in the play’s most famous scene, serves them both dinner while keeping them in the dark about each other, as well as attempting to satisfy his own hunger. It’s a silly, fast-paced comic farce brimming with larger than life characters, music, audience interaction, improv and physical comedy. Originally staged at London’s National Theatre in 2011, it went on to transfer to both the West End and Broadway and has toured the UK three times.
