BBCAT Summer Scheme 2026

It's time for our annual summer scheme taking place at our studio on 2 Carnegie Street in Lurgan.

This year, our children and young people will be working towards a showcase throughout the week, developing a variety of skills in musical theatre, acting and performance art.  Those who join our summer scheme also have early access to spaces in our Kid's Drama & Youth Theatre (subject to availability) for the new term in September.

There will be games, acting, singing and dancing and loads of fun activities for them to get involved in.

The scheme will run from Monday 3rd August until Saturday 8th August when they will perform their showcase at Lurgan Town Hall.

Kids Drama (Aged 6*-11) will run from 10am-12:30pm Mon-Fri (*6 year olds must be moving into P3)
Youth Theatre (Aged 11*-16) will run from 1pm-3:30pm Mon-Fri (*11 year olds moving into P7 should purchase a Kid's Drama ticket)
All children and young performers will meet at the Town Hall for a final rehearsal on Saturday at 10am, with the showcase beginning at 12noon.

We can't wait to see you all there and get stuck in!

When purchasing a ticket, please complete the questions so we can apply for permission from the Children in Employment and Entertainment Team at the Education Authority to perform with us.  All children MUST be registered for Summer Scheme by Tuesday 7th July in order for us to provide CEET with all details in the allocated timeframe.
