The Stone Roses, Primal Scream, and Me - An Intimate Evening With Gary ‘Mani’ Mounfield

The Man Behind the Beat: Mani on The Stone Roses
The Stone Roses stand as a monument in British music history, a band that didn't just have hits, but changed the course of culture. Their seminal debut album and the legendary 1990 Spike Island concert—famously dubbed "Madchester's Woodstock"—directly inspired the rise of Oasis, The Verve, and the entire Madchester scene.
Bassist Mani (Gary Mounfield) was at the centre of it all. Beyond The Roses, he was a key member of Primal Scream for 15 years, contributing to the genius of Screamadelica before returning to The Roses for their triumphant stadium tours.
In this intimate reflection, Mani takes us through the defining moments of his life: from the grooves of "Fools Gold" to the drama of legal disputes, the thrill of playing Wembley, the iconic look of bucket hats and Adidas, and the full story of Second Coming. Experience the narrative of the band that truly was What The World Is Waiting For.
