Raymond Burley is one of Britain’s most experienced classical guitarists having performed solo concerts, concertos, on film scores, radio, and television. As a soloist he has toured extensively throughout the UK, Europe, North and South America and the Far East. He has performed and recorded with many of England’s finest orchestras including the Philharmonia, English Chamber Orchestra, Hallé Orchestra and BBC Symphony Orchestra.
The full programme for the concert covers a range of genres. Raymond and 14 other members of the English Guitar Orchestra will perform music composed by Handel, Binge, Beethoven, Holst, Billy Joel, Eric Clapton, Carulli, Egberto Gismonti, Tony Hatch and Karl Jenkins.
There will be a bar open from 7pm prior to the performance and then in the interval. There will be a raffle too. Cash or card transactions accepted.
The Brize Norton PCC are indebted to Raymond and his colleagues enabling us to fund raise for St Britius Church, Brize Norton general funds and for Cancer Research.
