JON CRESPO - 'BEYOND ARMSTRONG'
The Guildhall Brecon LD3 7AL, Powys, LD3 7AL
Sunday 9th August 2026
“Beyond Armstrong” is a unique tribute to trumpet players inspired by Louis Armstrong. Arguably, modern jazz trumpet playing owes its roots and influences to the great Louis Armstrong. In some way, every trumpet player owes approach, understanding and their sound to him. This tribute will explore and pay homage to some of those players including Miles Davis, Tom Harrell, Woody Shaw and more.
