'A Christmas Carol' adapted by Peter Scofield from the novel by Charles Dickens

Charles Dickens’ 'A Christmas Carol' has become a seasonal classic for generations. We follow the story of the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge, his much put upon clerk Bob Cratchit, and the visitations he witnesses one fateful Christmas Eve.
First, his long deceased partner Jacob Marley warns the stubbornly reluctant Scrooge of his fate unless he changes his ways, before one by one, the ghosts of Christmas Past, Christmas Present and Christmas Yet to Come teach him valuable lessons.
Moved by what he learns, Scrooge realises the error of his ways, embracing generosity, compassion, and the true spirit of Christmas.

This new adaptation by Peter Scofield brings the story to life on stage.
