Join us for the 1st Annual Bognor Makerspace Art Show, celebrating the creativity of artists from across the local community and beyond.
Browse a diverse collection of artwork including painting, drawing and pastel, mixed media, and photography, with entries from amateur artists of all ages.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to vote for their favourite artwork, and selected pieces may be available to purchase.

Preview Evening 🍷
Friday 9th October, 7:00pm – 8:30pm
Enjoy a relaxed evening preview of the exhibition before it opens to the public. Meet the artists, chat about their work, and enjoy refreshments in an informal setting. Wine (over 18 only) and nibbles included!

Main Exhibition 🖼️
Saturday 10th October, 10:00am – 3:00pm
The exhibition opens to everyone for a day of art, creativity and community. Explore the exhibition, discover a variety of artistic styles and mediums, and cast your vote for your favourite piece.
Free admission for visitors
£2 entry fee for artwork submissions
(maximum 4 submissions per person)

Terms and Conditions / Entry Information ℹ️
Entry is open to amateur artists aged 16 years and over, with a specific category for young artists. Entry fees are £2 per artwork, with a maximum of 4 entries per person. This is paid in-person at the Makerspace upon delivery of the artwork, where you'll also sign an entrant declaration form, which you can preview below.

How to Register 📋
If you're interested in submitting your artwork to the show, here's what you need to know.
- View the terms and conditions (click here!) to check eligibility and artwork requirements.
- Start working on your submission(s). This can include painting, drawing, mixed media, sculpture, photography and pastels. If you're unsure whether your work fits a category, drop us a message at [email protected] or call 01243 345239. There's a maximum of four submissions per person.
- Share your work in progress or completed pieces using the hashtag #bognormakeartshow.
- Pay your entry fee. This is £2 per submission with a maximum of four submissions. You can do this online through our booking system or in person during the next step.
- Deliver your artwork to the Bognor Makerspace. The delivery window is between 14th to 28th September, Mon to Thurs, 9:30am to 3:30pm. You'll also sign an entrant declaration form and pay your entry free (if you didn't do this online).
- All set! Join us for the preview evening and main exhibition on Friday 9th October (7pm – 8.30pm) and Saturday 10th October (10am – 3pm). Please book tickets for the preview evening on the Fri below.
