Bexhill Light Operatic & Dramatic Society (BLODS)

Founded in 1933, BLODS has been bringing live theatre, music and entertainment to audiences for more than 90 years. From much-loved musicals and classic plays to comedy, murder mysteries and special events, our aim is simple: to create fantastic live entertainment while providing opportunities for local people to get involved both on and off stage.

BLODS is also proud of its community roots. We believe local theatre should be accessible, welcoming and, above all, fun. Our audiences are at the heart of everything we do, and we love creating productions that give people the opportunity to enjoy a great night out together.
We are proud to have received NODA recognition for our productions of Shrek and Elf, and we continue to strive for high-quality, ambitious productions while retaining the warmth and spirit of an amateur theatre society.
