between feathers ist ein Ensemble für zeitgenössische Musik. In diesem Konzert spielt ein Duo aus Flöte und Akkordeon, ergänzt durch alltägliche Objekte wie Papier und eine Fahrradpumpe, die hier zu Klangquellen werden.
A Room of One's Own ist eine Konzertreihe, die einen Raum schafft, um die Musik von Komponistinnen und bigender Komponist*innen der Gegenwart zu erleben.
Diese Edition von A Room of One's Own findet erstmals in La Maison, Paper Republic statt, einem Ort, an dem Papier nicht nur Thema, sondern gelebte Materialität ist, als Gestaltungsmittel, Handwerk und Bibliotheksbestand zugleich. Im Zentrum des Konzerts steht ein neues Werk von Atousa Falamarzian, komponiert für das Duo und entwickelt mit dem Material, das für Paper Republic zentral ist: Papier.
Neben Werken von Yulan Yu, Luxa Martín Schüttler, Malin Bång und Sarah Nemtsov präsentieren die Musikerinnen Improvisationen auf Basis von visuellem Aquarell-Material, das Audrey G. Perreault im Frühjahr 2026 geschaffen hat, ein offener Dialog zwischen Flöten, Akkordeon, Objekten und Bildern.

between feathers is a new music ensemble. This concert features a duo of flute and accordion, joined by everyday objects such as paper and a bicycle pump, ordinary things turned into sound sources.
A Room of One's Own is a concert series, created as a space to experience the music of women and bigender composers of today.
This edition of A Room of One's Own takes place for the first time at La Maison, Paper Republic, a place where paper is not merely a subject but a lived material, at once a design medium, a craft, and the substance of the space's own library. At the centre of the concert is a new piece by Atousa Falamarzian, composed for the duo and developed with the material essential to Paper Republic: paper.
Alongside works by Yulan Yu, Luxa Martín Schüttler, Malin Bång, and Sarah Nemtsov, the musicians perform improvisations based on watercolour visual material created by Audrey G. Perreault in spring 2026, an open dialogue between flutes, accordion, objects, and images.
