This is the first session in our free Belonging in Wycombe workshop series, this evening we invite you to explore what "home" and community means to you through mixed media collage. No experience needed, all materials provided. Join us at the We Make Wycombe Hub, all upcycled materials are sourced from Refresh Wycombe. This is an event for adults of all ages, leave the kids at home and unwind after a long day.
Bring a printed photograph of a place or moment in High Wycombe where you've felt welcomed/at home: a bench you sat on regularly, a shop where someone knew your name, a street that grew familiar. If you don't have a photo to hand, don't worry, we'll have a selection of photographs of High Wycombe streets and spaces for you to work with instead. Using upcycled paper, fabric scraps, magazines, and other materials, you'll cut, layer, and collage your images into something new, exploring what belonging could look and feel like as the conversation grows around the making.
