Wellington Drama Festival 2026

Our annual Wellington Drama Festival returns this November, a week full of full-length and one-act plays from various groups!
The festival is a chance for local groups to showcase their talent across acting, writing, set design, costume, and more.

The Wellington Drama Festival is a piliminary stage that makes up part of the All England Theatre Festvial, a countrywide amateur one-act competition. There will be an adjudication after every performance, and at the end of the week, the group with the highest number of points will win the festival, with the chance to progress to the next stages.

For audiences, this is a great opportunity to watch new plays of varying genres and discover local theatre groups.
