Spellbinding Palestinian folk-rock-and beyond! https://youtu.be/Vc-qeU-PEm0
Zaid Hilal is a Palestinian singer and composer from Bethlehem, carrying forward a living musical heritage shaped by memory, resistance, and everyday life.
“As Palestinian artists, we don’t only preserve heritage, we build on it. We create new music that grows from it, music that reflects our present reality and the struggles we continue to live through.” Zaid Hilal
Find out more about Zaid here https://zaidhilal.com and on instagram @zaidhilalofficial
This is the final public gig of his tour, having played in Cardiff, London, Glasgow, Stroud, Weston SM Bristol and down the road in Ashburton.
There are TWO SITTINGS for this gig at the Phoenix as we could only get the workshop space for 40 people. So if you find it's full there's a second entry.
