Principles of Research Design: formulating research questions

This session will focus on formulating research questions for academic and creative practice-based projects.  We will consider the following questions as part of our exploration of good Research Design and invite you to consider them in relation to your own research planning: 
What is a good research question / what is a bad research question? 
How do we identify a gap in knowledge? 
How do we know what the problem is before we have done the research? 
What constitutes an 'answer' to a research question?
