We’re incredibly proud to host our second special event our Autumn Memory Walk, taking place on Sunday 18 October 2026 at the beautiful Manvers Lake, Wath.
This peaceful 5K walk is a chance to come together in love, reflection, and remembrance a moment to honour those we’ve lost, and carry their memories forward with us. Whether you’re walking in memory of a parent, a son or daughter, a friend, a grandparent, or a colleague, this day is for you to share stories, feel supported, and remember together.
Along the route, you’ll find quiet spaces to reflect, and a dedicated remembrance area where you can take a moment for your loved ones. There’ll also be food, drink, and stalls to enjoy bringing comfort and community to what we hope will be a truly meaningful day.
All funds raised can support any area of the hospital that matters to you, or our current appeal - The Rainbow Room.
The Rainbow Room is not just a room.
It is where parents say hello and goodbye to their baby.
It is where precious memories are made in the most heartbreaking circumstances.
It is where love, grief, and compassion exist side by side.
Every day, incredible staff support families experiencing miscarriage from 20 weeks, MTOP, stillbirth, and neonatal loss with kindness, dignity, and unwavering care.
This event is brought to life with love by Barnsley Hospital Charity in partnership with Rotherham Hospital & Community Charity and we’d be honoured to have you join us, supporting Barnsley.💛
