TicketSource’s data protection compliance has been assessed against the Canadian Personal Information and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), and we have confirmed that we meet the requirements of this regulation. Please note the following clarifications:

What is the Legal Basis for Processing Your Personal Data?

• Processing your data is necessary for the performance of a contract (i.e., processing ticket bookings on behalf of the Event Organizer or storing your information if you choose to join a waiting list for an event), and by providing your data for these reasons, your consent is implied. We will also store your IP address, operating system, browser type, device type, and cookies for legitimate purposes, including website security and functionality, and to enable us to assist you should you have booking issues.

How to Make a Complaint

If you are unhappy with how TicketSource has processed your personal data, you may, in the first instance, contact our Data Security Officer by emailing [email protected]

If you remain dissatisfied, you can complain directly to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. Further information can be found on this website, which includes a link to their online complaint-filing services:

Please note that some Provinces have their own private-sector privacy laws that have been deemed equivalent to PIPEDA. Any complaint will need to be directed towards the Provincial Privacy Commissioner:
