Saint Mary's Church, Henley-on-Thames, Henley-on-Thames, RG9 2AU
Saturday 28th November 2026 7:00PM
Our concert on the 28 November is in aid of the Chiltern Centre in Henley.
‘O Sing Noel!’ will feature Renaissance and early Baroque motets and carols by composers including Johannes Eccard, Michael Praetorius and Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck, and nearer home with Benjamin Britten’s Hymn to the Virgin and Ola Gjeilo’s Ecce Novum!
The programme also features among others, Pergolesi’s Magnificat and one of the hidden gems of the choral repertoire: Ottorino Respighi's Lauda per la Natività del Signore (Laud to the Nativity).
The Chiltern Centre is dedicated to supporting young people (aged 16 – 30) with learning disabilities. They may also have physical disabilities and/or complex medical needs. The support that they provide also makes a huge difference to the families of the young people who enjoy the service.
