Each week, a wonderfully mismatched group of adults gathers in a local church hall for their tap-dancing class. They may not have West End ambitions – and some of them struggle simply to tell their left foot from their right – but under the watchful eye of their endlessly patient teacher, Mavis, they slowly begin to discover that they’re capable of far more than they ever imagined.
Behind the missed steps, aching feet and hilarious rehearsals are a group of very different people, each bringing their own personalities, problems and secrets to the class.
But when they’re asked to perform in public, suddenly it’s time to put all those lessons to the test!
