Climate Café
East Barnwell Community Centre, Cambridge, CB5 8RS
Saturday 14th November 2026 2:00PM
Can gardens help save the planet? 🌎🌱
This summer’s heatwaves and drought have underlined the reality of the changing climate. The good news is that all green spaces, including window boxes, domestic gardens, allotments, or community gardens, can help push back against climate change.
At this Climate Cafe we will explore together what we can do to help create and maintain more resilient and wildlife-friendly green spaces, that will benefit the whole community.
Come along to the next Abbey Climate Cafe where we'll be joined by local East Anglia group Climate Change Gardening on Saturday 14th November 2pm - 4pm at the East Barnwell Community Centre 🌎🌱
The Abbey Climate Café is a welcoming space to join the conversation about climate change and your local environment. Everyone is welcome at this Climate Café, all children must be accompanied by an adult.
Join us for the afternoon - enjoy a hot drink and refreshments, hear from local East Anglia group Climate Change Gardening, and chat with people in your community about what matters to you.
Why not do your little bit for the environment by walking, cycling or using public transport to get to the event if you can? There are bike and car parking facilities and the Stagecoach Citi 3 bus takes you near the venue. Please help us prevent waste by bringing a re-useable cup if you have one.
