Dear Parent/Carer,
Choosing the right secondary school for your child is a very important and exciting decision. To support you with your choice, we are delighted to welcome you into Horizon Community College.
We will be holding an Open Day for Year 6 students and their parents on Saturday 19th September between 9am and 3pm. This will provide you with the opportunity to speak to our expert staff and visit some of our outstanding facilities.
Due to popularity, this will be a bookable only event and tickets allocated on a first come, first served basis. So that you get the very best experience, we will admit families at 30 minute intervals across the day, with a limited number of families invited into the building at any one time. Once booked, you will receive a QR code/ticket which will be scanned on entry to the college building.
Please note
• Due to limited slots, please do only book one slot per admission.• Please arrive at your booked time – we will be unable to admit anyone into the building early or late.
• Once in the building, you and your family will follow a self guided one-way route.
• Members of our College Leadership Team and Subject Leaders will be available to answer any questions you may have.• We anticipate each group will spend approximately 60-90 minutes in the college building.
• The college building will be close at 3pm with the last tour starting at 1.15pm.
