Ninth's First STAM meetup

Dutch Scouts have a section called STAM that is for over 18's to get together and basically do Scouting skills together as adults. This could be anything from a lazy afternoon around a campfire; to adventurous activities like climbing, trekking, or canoeing; to learning new skills such as first aid, basket weaving, fire lighting, or how to put up your first tent. And the adults get to decide what kind of things they want to do. The idea is to build a community of adults - or our own Tribe, if you like! 😄
We would like to trial this section at the Ninth, with our own typical flair.
All over 18's who are part of the Ninth, or closely linked to the Ninth, are welcome to come along to our activity meetup which will be on:
Tuesday 28th ​April
7 - 9pm
@ Girlington Conservative Club on Thornton Road
Cost - just £3.50 a head to help us cover room hire
Free parking on site.
Our first meetup will include:

• Some silly quizzes to settle us all in
• A bit of an intro so we can make sure everyone feels included
• Snacks - cakes, savoury bites, bits and bobs (included in price above).
• Activities/contests with appropriate daft prizes:
  • Darts
  • Pool    
  • Dominoes
  • Cards
  • Or if you prefer - just sit, chat, and enjoy the atmosphere!

We will have a chat about what kind of activities you all might like to do going forwards so we can start planning.
